Knowledge is not perfect, and efficiency is not instant.
On that point: The free market is not obligated to correct for the lack of demand for humans.
How would you stop working for Uber if you couldn't get other jobs? How would you move house if you had no money to do so?
As for the 2nd question, if your house is your car then shouldn't that be easy? You have money to drive other people around, why wouldn't you have money to drive yourself somewhere?
