Ask HN: How are “first world” economies going to change over the next 20 years?

I'm a perennial startup employer and founder. As I watch the populist wave sweep the Western world and plan for future startup ventures, I feel that making predictions about what the economy will look like in 20 years is becoming harder than ever before. What does HN think is going to happen over the next 10-20 years (and beyond, if you prefer), insofar as the basic structure of our economies are concerned?
