Survey would have approx 50 questions and should be able to take boolean, string or multiple-choice values. Any suggestions to have something light weight developed within the product?

Gosha Arinich has written an excellent series of articles on how to use forms in React, at https://goshakkk.name/on-forms-react/ . I highly recommend you read those. In particular, he describes the concepts of "controlled inputs" and "uncontrolled inputs", which are important to understand when writing forms in React, as well as managing a list of inputs.
He's also recently published a book called "The Missing Forms Handbook of React", which is very much worth it: https://goshakkk.name/the-missing-forms-handbook-of-react/ .
