Are these the canonical rules based on the series or are some just made up due to lack of material?
I think the series never mentioned all of the rules. Memory Alpha (already linked above) is strict in adhering to canon and has a list of rules that appeared in the series:
http://memory-alpha.wikia.com/wiki/Rules_of_Acquisition
Guess the rest is made up or from non-canon publications.
The full list was never mentioned in the show, but I believe one of the writers (Ira Behr?) subsequently published a full list as a separate book. So probably not official canon but about as close as it gets.
I recognize a lot of them from DS9, but I'm not sure if they all came from the show. I really enjoyed how the Ferengi were portrayed in DS9 making pilgrimages to WallStreet...kinda funny.
Funnily enough, I was just watching DS9 S01E10 on Netflix. "What's the first rule of acquisition?"... it checks out.
#74 is a duplicate. Is that for emphasis?
Memory-Alpha[0] lists that rule as "Knowledge equals profit" so probably a mistake.
