Ask HN: Tech meetups happening next week in NY

I am planning to visit New York(from India) for 3-4 days next week and was wondering whether there are any tech meetups worth attending. This is also my first time flying to America(anywhere international for that matter) and I am looking for suggestions to best experience the city and get to know the tech scene there.
