Ask HN: Does anyone have a contact in the Google Android team?

Unless you are in Austria, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Spain, United Kingdom or United States, you cannot sell apps on the Android market.

Lots of people have been asking when this will change.

There has been no response from Google on the issue in more then ONE YEAR !!! e.g. http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/Android+Market/thread?tid=23a45fca59dcaf7a&hl=en

I'm kinda hoping I can get an answer if I can talk directly with someone on the team.
