Facebook.com website is down on mobile and desktop

Spike in productivity to be seen in offices around the world.

Nope, because everyone is now talking about it.

News headline reads "Productivity down as people stop to tell everyone about Facebook going down"

Working for me here in Missouri

Yes - started working 2-3mins before finally

Yep - this topic keeps getting flagged too - something fishy

Yes. Indeed.

Probably because an entertainment website going down isn't particularly newsworthy.

It's Facebook. The entire world is practically on the site. So yeah, it is newsworthy.

What will tomorrow's headlines be? "Popular, non critical website unavailable for several minutes"?

How many startups talked about here use Facebook as a login option? I'd assume that makes their service unavailable for a non-trivial number of users.

Good point. I suppose that's a valuable lesson in relying on third parties for critical functionality.

Yeah, FB being down is certainly news, and tech news as well.

Account linked with facebook also not working.

it has started working now
