It's not really a perk. It comes with its own set of problems, friends.
I suspect that the coworking space idea only works for people that are located a long distance from the main office (potentially 1000s of kms), but have a coworking space nearby.
Hint. It's not everyone else. It's you.
If it works "for you" then it'a a great thing to have in your life WFH!!
If not, then there is always the office.
Not when I worked at home. When I was working at home, I could get done with work exactly at 5 and head over to the weekly meetings of local organizations (ACM, local LUG, the hackerspace in town, 2600 meetings sometimes) and network there much more than I could if I had to drive out to where they were from my office.
