Ask HN: Remote workers not on first world, where you found work?

Frequently I hear stories of people that remote work from places like Thailand, Argentina, Indonesia...

I live in Brazil and I am not figuring how I find remote work. So how you people do it? Where you find work while living/nomading away from tech hubs?
