Ask HN: How does Google read my mind?

Often I will be watching a video on YouTube, get an inspiration to research something further, and within just a few letters Google knows exactly what I'm going to ask. Auto-filling words seems understandable, but how on earth do they guess complex phrases from just a few letters?
