Ask HN: Copy and Uncopy learning strategy – Is this a good one?
Most often we work within bounds of time. Sometimes when we deal with difficult problems, it is impossible to come up with a solution yourself within the time. I usually look up the solution, understand, and then try to write the solution based on my understanding. Is this is an effective learning strategy? Do you do this? Or you call this cheating, and you are better off not solving the problem?
