Workes the other way too, I've been seeing it a lot;

Bad thing happens = THIS IS BECAUSE OF WE HAVEN'T LEFT THE EU

Good thing happens = THIS IS BECAUSE WE ARE LEAVING THE EU

They implied the mere vote for it would collapse things.
