Still, I would definitely take a strong launch over a weak one if I had a choice. :)
Since the console is not likely to get any 3rd party AAA games Nintendo is going to have to court nearly every indie dev + churn out as many first party titles as possible.
Also I'm hoping for a $50 price drop after Christmas...
People forget that the ps2 was many familie's DVD player. That kind of extra utility goes a long way into driving purchases imo.
Either way, canceling the 3ds and focusing all their efforts on the switch seems like the best way to ensure this system is a success.
