Anyone want to chime in with a way to simply grab them all?
youtube-dl -f bestvideo+bestaudio --merge-output-format mkv -ci [play list url]
I'm on MacOS and was able to get it working by doing the following: brew install youtube-dl
brew install ffmpeg
ffmpeg is needed for encoding.You can get playlists here: https://www.youtube.com/user/UCBerkeley/playlists
$ youtube-dl
The program 'youtube-dl' is currently not installed.
You can install it by typing:
sudo apt install youtube-dl
$ sudo apt install youtube-dl
Not many things I love more than discovering that someone wanted the program I'm about to write, and wrote it better than I'd have had time to. This is why I still love the Linux/BSD ecosystem after all these years sudo youtube-dl -U
There's also an .exe for Windows as well as pip, Homebrew, and MacPorts packages.[1] https://github.com/rg3/youtube-dl/blob/master/README.md#how-...
