Google is a technology company that sells ads. Amazon is a technology company that sells goods. It's not what you have, it's what you are.

The future isn't bright for companies that just "have" technology.

Agree and why these latest "tech" companies that do NOT actually sell their tech will not fall as easily from industry changes.

I have a tough time seeing the new three, Google, Amazon and FB going away. I can see it with MS and Apple.
