Ask HN: Is there a HN threads history solution?

The messages and topics discussed here are excellent. But once time has passed the HN system does not allow to retrieve past postings easily. I know some time ago the history capturing was already discussed, but even that thread I could not find again.
Anybody has a good method or solution? Beyond a time consuming copy+past or bookmarking approach.
