Illusion of WHO?

Anything that can have illusions is a consciousness.

I disagree. I have shown a random blob to an face-recognition algorithm. It "saw" a face were there was none. It was not conscious, but it was perfectly able to have illusions.

An algorithmic error is not the same as an illusion.

To take it to be so, is to presuppose what you're supposed to prove.
