Ask HN: New LinkedIn UI/UX Win or Fail?

Do you use LinkedIn?

If so what are your thoughts about the new UI/UX?

I ask because I don't see benefits to the changes, it seems to be slower and less intuitive.

I'd like to understand why and how a company with the collective intelligence and resources of LinkedIn seems to miss the mark from my perspective.
