Ask HN: How to systematically prune your Twitter timeline
I have the gut feeling I have either follow too many accounts or I follow accounts which tweet too much. I'd like to reduce the volume of my twitter timeline. But I rather have numbers than a gut feeling who to unfollow.
The ideal tool would give me an histogram of users and their number of tweets in a defined timespan, e.g. last month or per day.
I found an old twitter-timeline-cleaner on npm but it throws an error, possibly because of an Twitter API snafu. ManageFlitter seems to be a tool but its web app times out.
Any good suggestions, strategies or tools?
(As an aside for developers: what I really miss in apps like RSS readers or Twitter clients are statistics. Nothing fancy, tables as UI would be great. Export even greater.)
