What's the general issue with this? I've heard it before in relation to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Betteridge's_law_of_headlines, but that doesn't seem to apply here.
In this case, it's the author's (me) intention to leave the reader thinking the answer is "maybe" or "probably not".
