Is Rails still what people use for REST+DB+Front End projects?
I have a small side project I'm working on. It will consist of a DB, a REST API, a website, and mobile clients. I'm generally a backend/low level dev kind of guy but this needs to be the whole deal. My skills are primarily python, C/C++, and some ops stuff but I don't mind learning. I was just going to do this in Python but Rails seems to deal with the MVC connections better. What are people using for these kind of projects these days?
