It's getting really old, really fast that tech workers "have to save the world".
No thanks, just let me be so I can live my freaking life.
Nobody can "save the world" single-handedly and nobody expects that from tech workers. Although, it is expected that they gain political consciousness and learn to hold their CEOs accountable for the products that they make and the actions they take.
Human rights == good
Unions, stuff that hinders economic development == bad
Without unionizing, how can tech-workers take sustainable collective actions? and protect themselves politically?
