Hi Hackers, Since most early stage startup founders are very busy building awesome products with limited resources, wondering what do you do for your content marketing to get your product found by potential customers ?

By definition, content marketing provides a useful (and usually free) resource for people searching on the net. So the first step is to research what topics people are searching for that are relevant to your product/service. I do this with various keyword tools (e.g. moz, ahrefs), and by looking at forum discussions about those topics (Quora is great for this). Then if we have the expertise to offer something useful, we write great content optimised for those topics and searches.

One way to look at it is that part of what a company produces is the mechanism of putting its ideas in front of a customer...in this sense, working on the product includes communicating with potential customers. An awesome product is only awesome if it is awesome for other people.

Agree. But what is the best way to communicate with potential customers by not pushing them and annoying with marketing?
