Ask HN: Know any interesting immigration datasets

Hi,

In light of events, I want to make data visualizations that tell positive stories about immigration. It's probably the best way for me personally to do something positive.

But to do that, I need datasets. Do you know any?

Something like "All famous people who are immigrants or children of immigrants and how they improved society", or jobs done by immigrants, or ... I don't know really. Anything would be awesome, the more meta data the better.

This is a fledling idea and asking on HN is a wildcard, but if you have any clues for an interesting dataset, I'd appreciate it :)
