Face it, we don't have the critical mass necessary to shame alternative facts, our average level of education is just not high enough. That makes democracy itself almost useless. We're slowly sliding into a state where language and words don't have any meaning, because everyone has his own take on things. We're heading into another kind of dark ages. Maybe that's the natural state of human beings, or it just happens when society is twisted by capital and political power. We're optimizing for the wrong thing.
