How Obama performed on 40 promises he made during his presidential campaigns

I think a pass on his healthcare promises is being way too easy on Obama. Even if you like the general direction of the ACA, there were many specific promises (you can keep your doctor, costs will be contained) that were not kept.

And part of the reason he couldn't keep his bipartisanship promises is because he burned so many bridges getting the ACA passed.

Maybe you think he did a good job with all that considered, but it wasn't what he pitched the American people in 2008.

Lets also not forget "Caused millions of civilians to flee the middle East and destabilize the EU".

Compromise should not be considered a dirty word. If the various factions can work together to produce better legislation, then that is something that should be commended.

It is the nature of government especially in a 2 party system.

In the netherlands we usually can't get a government without at least 4 or 5 parties... compromises are all we get.

Kudos to the Washington Post for making fact checking accessible. I call that innovation in journalism.
