This is why Facebook has Sun's logo on the back of its sign and Google remembers it is based on SGI's old campus. Hubris destroys companies.

Is there evidence that this was a conscious decision on the part of Facebook?

I'm pretty sure that Facebook could have afforded a new sign if they'd wanted to.

I heard the same story directly from a Facebook recruiter as well.
