Ask HN: How do I prevent GMail iPhone app from automatically loading images?

1 pointxtacy0 comments

Previous versions of GMail iPhone app explicitly asked the user if they want to load images in an email. However, as of at least v5.0.7 on iPhone, the option disappeared, and GMail seems to load all images automatically.

I tried to search online if it's possible to disable auto-load images, but in vain. Is there a hack to restore the old behaviour?

thanks,
