How does this compare to VP9/10 by a "human quality" metric? There's lots of cherry-picking about stats which makes an encoding sound impressive on paper but result in a worse perceptible quality. Additionally, adoption is really slow of VP9 already so I don't see anyone switching to Daala soon.
