Tools I learned about from 30 hardware founders
1. bomhacker.com - basically saves you money on hardware.
2. Crewfire.com - get your group of die-hard supporters to support you on a recurring basis. Reward their facebook/twitter shares. I prefer crewfire to thunderclap.it
3. plethora.com -- this is super dope for anyone who has dealt with mfg issues.
4. grabcad.com - useful community resource for tons of MechE's.
5. LACI - LA incubator with $20M worth of hardware.
6. import.io - you can scrape indiegogo, kickstarter, and crowdtilt and see analytics on past crowdfunding campaigns.
7. leadfeeder.com - if you're selling an expensive product, this is a fast way to know who is visiting your site so you can approach them to talk about your product. "
8. Prefundia.com - launch your campaign in beta to test the waters.
Curious if you(all) know of any others?
