Ask HN: Mail app for phone for private mail server?

After the yahoo release, I was thinking it would be nice to use a private email server that does not scan my email and serve me ads.

I was wondering if there are any better phone apps out there for this case?

The default mail app on android is not that great in terms of features.

What do you use on your phone to interface with a private mail server?
