Secret CIA assessment says Russia was trying to help Trump win White House

Obama is clearly trying to educate the US public in order to put pressure on the Republican congress. And for obvious reasons. Putin and many of his friends and supporters with the government are under active sanctions and have significant assets frozen in overseas bank accounts. There is the threat of Nato and the Missile Destroyer on Russia's backyard. There is the 500 billion dollar oil project in the Arctic. And clearly Russia still harbours ambitions of reclaiming their former superpower glory.

So any relaxation in Russia-US foreign policy is going to benefit them immensely. The question now is whether Congress is going to allow this or not.
