Ask HN: Things to keep in mind while making a product demo video

I'm making a video about a product (it's an data analytical tool).

As I'm doing this first time, I have no idea about how to demonstrate a product through video (storyline, or basic ethics).

I will really appreciate any help Ycombinator community can give me.
