His arguments are not tight, but the talk is cathartic for those of us who see "AI weenies" for what they are.
I love this. I am reminded of an article from a year ago that discussed a philanthropic arm of google deciding that since the potential harm of an evil AI was total annihilation they logic'd themselves into focusing their efforts on trying to prevent that rather than solving more immediate problems. I can't find that article.
