Started reading the first paragraph then understood that the person writing this click-bait has no clue on how autocomplete works and is off on writing about Illuminati and conspiracies just so she can justify her salary.

This article is not worth your time fellow hn readers, just another rant about a certain field that the ranter knows absolutely nothing about.

More pearl-grasping hyperbole based on somebody who doesn't understand autocomplete.

I don't quite understand what she's advocating, except more views that agree with her progressive world view. "Any ideas that's don't agree with my worldview should be censored."

i challenge you to reread this article and view it as skeptically and through the lens of itself being propaganda advocating the "fake news" censorship angle in a different way.

This pushes similar views of the pro-censorship rhetoric that but reframes it for those skeptical of google/control. The real problem is massive consolidation, which gives outsize levels of control to very few entities.

This article focuses on a trifle and is misleading and complimentary to the pro "truth" censorship of the nebulous "fake news".

Google serves 42% of the world with the lyxury of access to internet. It serves traffic at scale estimated to be3x the size of Facebook[0].

This article is a strawman that google (built by 2 jews) leads people to conclude jews could be bad...erm maybe. But here is the real scare:

- 1M google pws leaked; gooligan.

- All search engines based on Page Rank, immitate google. Google influences what is shown on the other 4ish search engines that cover most of worlds traffic.

- control what is & isnt indexed.

- control email, have lionshare and dictate what is "spam". Running a mailserver is hard.

- "too big to fail", imagine that dns, cloud, search, email, browser, store, android went out. Not only would google apps/email halt biz, but failover of redisistributing 40% of worlds traffic === the biggest ddos ever

- see 40% of worlds thought in realtime.

I know this is pretty extreme but I cant help but see this article as pro censorship shilling wrapped up in plausible alarmist rgetoric.

Yes google has influence, probably 1000th on list of dangers is people "going down the completion rabbit hole" and being misinformed. Sure, it happens, bur it is a symptom of a symptom of the problem.

TL;DR this article uses a real problem to push the "fake news bullshit" from another angle. Ecen has the inflamatory "jews" or "muslims" are bad to make it go viral. Thos is real propaganda, look closer
