Anyone making that flight on a regular basis is going to have access to a power outlet.

Any run-of-the-mill consumer isn't going to be working and will be just fine with a tablet or a book.

Not true. I fly between New York and SF every couple months and my company doesn't pay for business class

But the whole front half of the airplane on most airlines (LCCs excepted) has power outlets. That includes premium economy and a bunch of regular economy.

Business class? Delta has power in what amounts to the front half of the plane on most flights.

At least you're going to figure out which plane+airline tends to have the outlets.
