Ask HN: Scientist missing in Honduras, can anyone help?
Honduran biologist, Isis Melissa Medina Flores (32), disappeared on November 5th at "Parque Nacional Montaña de Celaque", in Honduras while on a small science/hiking expedition.
The family is hoping to find her well and alive. The family is asking for any kind of help with canines, GPS or satellite imagery and/or rescue equipment/services/drones.
If anyone here knows of someone who can assist them, please get in touch with the family via their FB page (in spanish):

If you do not speak spanish, I can serve as a translator, just contact me via henryauget@gmail.com
Much obliged to anyone who can provide ANY kind of help (even if it's a tweet somewhere), or who can get the word out to someone who can. EVERY SECOND COUNTS!
