No. And facebook does not pretend it 's not pro-Hillary (its CEO endorsed her). That doesn't mean the discussion is not warranted. In fact it's long overdue. Facebook is now a medium like the rest, it needs to be regulated like the press imho.

Probably not. What's probably happened is that people of Facebook looked internally and realized they had the power to sway this election and didn't act on it. It's weird because we want Facebook to not sway us and let us build our own belief structure, yet in this case maybe I would want Facebook to do something, and help not spread lies and misinformation may be something everyone can get behind (except snopes).

Yes, because it's an interesting technical and social problem. I do admit the discussion here would have a different tone if the result had gone the other way, but not necessarily a better tone as there's plenty of vitriol on both sides.
