I don't see what we'd benefit from getting it out there to the wider world.
I hadn't. And wow, that was brutal. I actually cringed in real life reading it:
> I certainly won’t be going far (), so I hope to continue a lasting relationship and hope that we all can work together sometime in the future.
> Don’t come back to the office, do not email the team list. Elliot will send you paperwork tomorrow. Today was your last day. Good luck being employee 4,367 at a dying company. Horribly disappointed in you.
I'd like to add some analysis, but I mean... wow, that's just brutal. Wow. If I'd seen that in a movie, I'd think it was being melodramatic and was really poorly written because no one's that venomous in real life. Just, wow.
Edit: I do have a thought to add. Ideally, don't be vicious, be gracious, etc. But if you are going to be vicious and nasty, for God's sake don't put it in writing.
(The TC article does not add anything much. The fact that Jason is a TC50 partner is interesting though)
As far as TC50, it seems that disintegrated not very amicably at the end of the last one: http://venturebeat.com/2009/09/16/tc50-techcrunch50-founders...
