Internet == Teleportation of experiences???
The Internet is a mode of teleportation: Instead of people, we are teleporting experiences; pictures, parties, knowledge, shopping. ...
The only thing you can really teleport is a piece of blank fax paper. Put it in a fax on one end, and an identical piece of fax paper comes out anywhere in the world.
You'll have to destroy the original afterwards of course.
Overall one way for me to see the value of the internet is the fact that it can help us have the experiences we could only have with people close to us geographically in the past with someone located half way across the world. And i think every service that is adding value today is doing just that. :)
