Attack articles like this are always disgusting. Unfortunately starting a moral outrage on social media, trying to get somebody fired, and guilt-tripping are becoming common tactics these days for authoritarians, who convinced themselves they're moraly superior to others. Happy to see Y Combinator resisted where most yield.
