I think you might be surprised by how active the Commodore community has been. I haven't checked every possible component before writing this message but I'd bet the Commodore hardware ports are all available and can be hooked up to emulators just fine.

And you can stockpile those for not much money right now. And while they, too, will have correlated failures over the course of decades as they decay, at least it starts the clock back at 0 again.
