What recruiters keep contacting you?

I'm a software developer in Toronto, and I keep receiving a lot of pings from recruiters from Amazon. No one else is as active as Amazon, although Bloomberg recruiters showed up quite a bit last year. Microsoft came knocking once that I can remember, and I don't think I've ever received an email from Facebook.

Is this typical? Who's knocking at your door?
