You can already create shared libraries that expose a C API using -buildmode=shared.

That's already possible, I've written an API that encapsulates Go libraries as Redis modules.

It's a WIP and I haven't had the time to complete it, but here it is. You can load modules, handle redis commands and return responses, but you can't access redis itself yet.
