A productive day
I'm the CEO of an unknown company, amongst the reasons because it doesn't exist yet. And I'm fully aware you're gonna mercilessly delete this post, for one reason if not other, because I haven't posted a link to my site and perhaps true identity.
Anyways, today, in spite of 38 years of experience, I experienced a productive day. By "not doing anything", as technical people as I used to be view it, albeit I spent most of the 14 hours of my workday just as I've spent it in the last 5 years. 10 if you count the moment I've hopped from 10 to 14 and 15 since hopping from regular 8 hours to an average of 10.
So after 15 years of chasing ghosts I'm a bit tired. 30 years, if you count up to the first time I've thought about it.
But anyways again, in all my experience, chasing ghosts was if not a an explicitly forbidden, at least a highly discouraged activity. Try trying to be Richard Feynman by working just an average of one hour, if you're lucky to get that, and you still have the will and macht to do that after cutting, piling and shipping trees for 12 hours.
I did that for 30 years but I'm starting to feel this is the end. I can't do that anymore. I've very little idea what kept me going this far anyways. Trying to understand stuff, do stuff, change stuff, in spite of what every sheeple around me does and forces me to do.
I've got a horibly guilty feeling for not working my personal 3 hours per day. Because I only get those on average. If I'm missing this day then most probably I'm missing this week. Then, likely this month. Then I have to work hard just to fucking remember where the fuck did I start from. And progress exactly three fucking days. The whole month.
So what I'm telling you is that in spite of 'not working', I still feel I've made progress today. I just sat and reflected on what's wrong and what I can do to correct that. And came up with this.
