I'm sick of the conformist 'hacker'-wear in the tech industry. You gotta wear designer clothes to rebel against the techy t-shirt, hoody uniform.

A t-shirt with a tech joke, xkcd comic etc.. You can get those on the high street today.

I think some, and I don't mean to point a single finger because there's too many, are far too obsessed or concerned with what other people are wearing. This kind of tribal rivalry bullshit does not benefit the species at all.
