'Failing Light' (with Harold Budd) may be just about the most relaxing music ever. Everything's just growing and existing, perhaps underwater, with nothing ever happening.

"Apollo: Atmosphere & Soundtracks" is an incredible album and was written for a documentary (no words) of the Apollo landing. I've always wanted to see the original but it is NOWHERE.

Here's a Youtube of somebody on the water just so you get a feeling of the music of the ether.

Random bit of trivia about Brian Eno is that he wrote the start-up music to Windows 95.

i really enjoyed this - "bbc hardtalk brian eno" if it doesn't work in your jurisdiction

Symphony of the Planets might be another avenue to directly investigating the sonic structure of the universe. Another great listen.

If you like Brian Eno, check out Stars of the Lid.

So if you know about Brian Eno, he's one of the original pioneers in the minimalist "Space" music genre. His Apollo album in the 80's brought synthesizers to post-rock.

He also made the Windows 95 opening sound: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I3Ak5VgyEoc
