You state 'Every person is offered deals by the devil...'.

This is a religious assertion. So putting a disclaimer that you are not suggesting any religious explanation is therefore nonsense.

The idiom "deal with the devil" barely has any religious connotation anymore. You probably wouldn't bat an eyelid if the post didn't also contain "separate the wicked from the good," "evil at heart," "taint their soul," and the use of the word "fall." Which isn't to say your point isn't valid.

I'm not religious but I was raised by religious people so my vocabulary for morality includes those sort of words. There might be better words, but those are the ones I know.

but morality exists without religion, which is why I added the 'disclaimer'
