A new bubble to burst... All the hype around Ethereum reminds me of Bitcoin. Learn from the past! Sell when the hype peaks! Don't get too greedy!

All those poor people who sold Bitcoin at the peak hype of $3. :( Or $20, or $250.

I shut down a 64-core Xeon mining setup because it'd "only" net me 100 coins a month. :(

ouch! I hear ya. I also turned off my miner because hundreds of coins a month wouldn't recover the cost of the video card soon enough.

Or who didn't sell at $1200!

I sold at 900 and bought back at 300! Bubbles are fun (for now)

I don't know!!! Feeling. I also wanted to buy etherium last Thursday with the intent of cashing out in advance of paying for car repairs (I'm picking it up today)... that was on the news of the dao and arcade city in Austin. (I messed up setting up trading accounts and the money tx was too slow)

I did sell out btc at 440 and bought back in at 390-ish when that story hit hacker news about the button tx saturation "issue"

Two things I go by:. 1) the market is not efficient. 2) herd behavior can be your friend.

I sold most of my Bitcoin at 20 dollars because of the hype- If I had held it until now, even after the "Bitcoin bubble" I would have been much better off :)

Fortunately money doesn't make you happy and it can't buy you love. So you lucked out.

Depends on what you do with it

If you don't have it you can't do much...

As the saying goes, money doesn't buy happiness. Money buys the things that bring happiness...

I believe this notion, below a certain threshold, has been proven utterly false.
