My short bio: I'm a writer and programmer, and have terminal cancer. I'm slowly unwinding my life and planning my death. I'm using my own case to study how the living and the dying talk, to attack the taboos over cancer and death, and to make dying a more positive, social process. More details in the link below.
My Proof: http://hintjens.com/blog:115 (scroll down for scan of summary report from my hospital stay, in French).
To be clear, I'm not sure when I'm going to die. I've metastasis in both lungs, and colon. Bile duct cancer does not respond to chemo, as a rule. My oncologists are pessimistic and I'm on palliative care at home now. That is my data, the basis for the rest of my life.
